    What?

A Festival of performances created by local youth. Short plays, movement, spoken word, comedy, performance art… if you’ve ever thought about putting something onstage, here’s your chance!

    When?

We are hoping to present these works in conjunction with the 2027 Asheville Fringe Festival, which is the 3rd weekend in March. If that is not workable this year we will look at the next couple of weekends following Fringe. We will know for certain.

Proposals are due September 15, and selections will be made by the end of October.

    How?

If your proposal is selected for production, you will work with a mentoring team to plan, budget, cast, rehearse, and perform your piece. There will be pre-production sessions during the fall and your rehearsal calendar will begin in January.

  • Balthazar

Welcome to our first auditioned show! Ages 14-22

Romeo and Juliet has been told and retold through the ages. This time, the central character is Balthasar, Romeo's most trusted servant - the one who fails to delivers the Friar's message in time. A tragedy with hope built into the ending, see R&J as you've never seen it before!

Be a part of the magic, the hilarity, and the heart-break as we journey to Verona together.

    Rehearsals will be held Mondays & Wednesdays from 6 - 8:00pm and Sundays from 2 - 5pm from January 4 - March 10. Show dates March 12, 13, & 14.
